Civil QA/QC Engineer

**Civil QA/QC Engineer** **Key Responsibilities:** · Implement and maintain the project **Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures**. · Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and other quality\-related documents. · Monitor civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. · Conduct inspections of civil works, including excavation, earthworks, foundations, concrete works, structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works. · Prepare and submit **Inspection Requests (IR/WIR)** and coordinate inspections with the client/consultant. · Ensure that all materials received at site are inspected and comply with approved material specifications and relevant standards. · Coordinate and witness material testing, concrete testing, soil testing and other required laboratory/site tests. · Review and maintain **Material Test Certificates (MTCs), test reports, inspection records and quality documentation**. · Monitor concrete works, including batching, slump tests, cube tests, pouring and curing. · Ensure proper implementation of **Inspection \& Test Plans (ITPs)** and checklists. · Identify non\-conforming works/materials and raise **NCRs** where required. · Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of NCRs. · Maintain quality records and prepare regular QA/QC reports. · Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, HSE and Project Management teams on quality\-related matters. · Assist in preparation of **Method Statements, ITPs, checklists and Quality Plans**. · Ensure that approved construction materials and suppliers are used at site. · Participate in internal, client and consultant quality audits. · Maintain proper documentation for project handover, including **as\-built drawings, test reports, inspection records and quality dossiers**. · Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, project specifications and client requirements. · Provide technical guidance to site supervisors and construction teams on quality requirements. **Qualification:** · Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. · **ISO 9001 / Quality Management System** knowledge or certification. **Experience:** · **6–8 years** of experience with minimum of 2 yrs in Gulf. Pay: RO600\.000 \- RO700\.000 per month Work Location: In person
