Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer — Job Description **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and review engineering drawings, designs, and specifications. * Plan and supervise construction activities to ensure projects meet approved designs. * Perform site inspections and monitor construction progress. * Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and other engineering teams. * Calculate quantities, materials, costs, and project requirements. * Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, building codes, and safety standards. * Monitor quality of materials and workmanship. * Identify and resolve technical and construction issues. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Review contractor submissions, method statements, and material approvals. * Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. * Maintain project documentation and records. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Relevant professional engineering certification is an advantage. * Knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering/design software. * Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards. * Strong communication, problem\-solving, and project coordination skills. * Previous construction/site experience is preferred. **Typical Skills:** * Structural and civil design * Site supervision * Quantity estimation * AutoCAD * Project management * Quality control * Construction planning * Technical reporting * Problem solving * Team coordination Pay: QAR4,000\.00 \- QAR5,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
