**Job Title: Civil Draftsman** **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Job Type:** Temporary \| 5 Months **Employment:** Full\-time **Work Location:** Sealine, Mesaieed **Job Description** We are looking for a detail\-oriented and experienced **Civil Draftsman** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate civil engineering drawings in accordance with project specifications, approved designs, and applicable standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed **civil, structural, and infrastructure drawings** based on engineering designs, specifications, and site requirements. * Develop and modify **shop drawings, as\-built drawings, construction drawings, and detail drawings**. * Review drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved designs and project requirements. * Review and revise drawings for MEP, Fire and other disciplines. Knowledge in MEP drawings will be an added advantage. * Incorporate engineers' comments, consultant revisions, and site changes into drawings. * Prepare and update **as\-built drawings** based on approved site changes and survey information. * Maintain proper drawing registers, revision histories, and document control. * Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants regarding drawing requirements. * Check dimensions, levels, coordinates, sections, details, and annotations before issuing drawings. * Ensure all drawings are properly revised, numbered, recorded, and issued for approval or construction. * Support the project team in meeting drawing submission schedules and project deadlines. **Requirements** * Diploma or Degree in **Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting, or a related discipline**. * **3 years of relevant experience** as a Civil Draftsman in construction inside Qatar/GCC is preferred. * Strong knowledge of **AutoCAD** and civil drafting practices. * Experience preparing **shop drawings, construction drawings, and as\-built drawings**. * Knowledge of civil construction details, dimensions, levels, sections, and detailing. * Experience coordinating drawings with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams. * Knowledge of drawing revision control and document management. * Familiarity with relevant civil engineering standards and project specifications. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/documentation systems is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify drawing discrepancies. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple drawing assignments under tight deadlines. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project submission schedules. **Application Questions** * Do you have at least **3 years of relevant Civil Draftsman experience**? * Do you have experience working in the **construction industry**? * Do you have experience working in **Qatar or GCC** countries? * Do you have strong hands\-on experience using **AutoCAD**? * Do you have experience preparing **civil shop drawings and construction drawings**? * Do you have experience preparing and updating **as\-built drawings**? * Do you have experience coordinating drawings with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams? * Do you have experience incorporating **engineer's comments, revisions, and site changes** into drawings? * Do you have experience maintaining **drawing registers, revisions, and document control**? * Are you available to join **immediately** and work full\-time on a **5\-month contract**? **Language** * **English (Required)** Work Location: In person
