Civil Defense Engineer

• Develop and implement comprehensive civil defense strategies and emergency response plans for critical infrastructure. • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats to public safety and infrastructure. • Design and oversee the construction of protective structures and civil defense facilities that meet stringent safety standards. • Manage and coordinate emergency response operations during natural disasters, man-made crises, and security incidents. • Minimum 2 years of experience in Civil Defense / Fire & Life Safety systems • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Defense regulations and approval processes. • Experience in handling submissions, inspections, and compliance requirements • Good communication and coordination skills • Coordinate with Civil Defense authorities for approvals and inspections • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards • Prepare and review technical documentation and drawings • Support project execution related to fire and safety systems • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification. • Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in civil defense, emergency management, or structural engineering with a focus on safety. • Proven experience in risk assessment, hazard mitigation, and emergency preparedness planning.
