Chief Engineer (C/E) | Offshore - Diving Support Vessel (DSV)

Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on an offshore Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating in Doha. You will lead the engine department and ensure all machinery and systems run safely and efficiently to support offshore diving and marine operations. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and supervise all engine room operations and technical personnel * Ensure safe and efficient running of main engines, generators and all auxiliary machinery * Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical and electrical systems * Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption and maintain proper records * Ensure compliance with class, flag state, company and safety requirements * Prepare engine department reports and keep all technical documentation up to date * Support safe diving and offshore operations through reliable vessel power and systems ### **Requirements** * Valid Chief Engineer (Motor) license for seagoing vessels, STCW compliant * Previous experience as C/E on offshore / DSV or similar vessels preferred * Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems and planned maintenance systems * Good command of English, written and spoken * Strong leadership, safety awareness and ability to work in a multicultural crew * All required offshore and STCW certificates in hand and up to date
