Chief Accountant

Job Description: * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate recording of transactions. * Perform month\-end and year\-end closing activities. * Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions. * Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow activities. * Prepare and post journal entries. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. * Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation. * Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. * Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. * Improve accounting processes and internal controls. * Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
