Operator
• Manage and Monitor CCTV Systems & Surveillance Equipment
• Ensure the continuous monitoring of live CCTV footage throughout the facility/ stores.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, security and SOP breaches, or other anomalies.
• Regularly maintain and troubleshoot CCTV systems for optimal performance.
• Incident Reporting & Documentation
• Document incidents, SOPs violations, security breaches, or any security-related event, including footage capturing and report preparation for further analysis or law enforcement if necessary.
• Collaborate with concerned teams and management to provide timely updates and resolutions.
• Support Emergency Response
• Assist in the coordination of security responses to emergencies (SOPs violations, theft, fire, safety hazards).
• Work closely with the security team to direct actions based on CCTV findings.
• Provide video evidence to assist in investigations or legal proceedings if required.
Technician
• Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, video management systems, and related security equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system health checks.
• Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV systems, network cabling, power supplies, and associated equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting to ensure CCTV systems remain operational with minimal downtime.
• Assist with CCTV system upgrades, expansions, and integration with access control systems, alarms, and other security technologies.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with health, safety, and company security procedures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, system layouts, and CCTV configurations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Electronics, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• CCTV or Surveillance Systems Certification is preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar surveillance or security role (CCTV monitoring, security officer, or related position); Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar security systems role.
• Experience in a high-traffic environment like retail or fashion is a plus.
• Knowledge of IP and analog CCTV systems, DVR/NVR configuration, networking basics, and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with surveillance software, video management systems, and security equipment.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
