Cashier – Position Overview We are looking for a responsible and detail\-oriented **Cashier** to handle cash transactions, customer payments, and daily financial records accurately. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately. * Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. * Handle cash safely and maintain accurate cash balances. * Reconcile the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift. * Verify prices, discounts, promotions, and payment amounts. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic payment\-related issues professionally. * Maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash transactions. * Prepare and submit daily cash reports to the supervisor. * Identify and report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions. * Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and financial controls. * Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and finance teams when required. * Maintain a clean and organized cashier area. * Ensure a high level of customer service at all times. Requirements * **1–3 years of experience** as a Cashier, preferably in retail, FMCG, F\&B, or a similar environment. * Good knowledge of cash handling and POS systems. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Strong numerical and attention\-to\-detail skills. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple transactions accurately. * Honest, reliable, and organized. * Ability to work flexible shifts when required. Preferred Skills * Experience with **POS systems**. * Experience handling high\-volume transactions. * Basic knowledge of sales reconciliation and cash closing. * Previous experience in FMCG, retail, or F\&B is an advantage.
