Cashier

**A. Job Qualifications** * Previous experience as a Cashier, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment. * Good numerical skills and attention to detail. * Familiarity with POS systems and cash\-handling procedures. * Ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately and responsibly. * Good communication and organizational skills. **B. Key Areas of Responsibility** **Responsibilities** * Handle cash, card, and room\-charge payments accurately. * Operate the POS system and ensure guest checks are correctly closed. * Verify discounts, voids, and complimentary bills according to hotel procedures. * Reconcile daily collections against POS reports and ensure all transactions are properly accounted for. * Prepare and submit daily cashier reports together with all required supporting documents. * Maintain and safeguard the assigned cashier float at all times. * Identify and immediately report any cash shortages, overages, or discrepancies. * Ensure all transactions and supporting documents are complete and properly recorded. * Follow the hotel’s cash\-handling procedures and internal controls at all times. * Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling guest and financial information. * Cooperate with the relevant departments to resolve any payment or billing discrepancies. * Perform any other cashier\-related duties assigned by the management within the scope of the position.
