CARPENTRY MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced **carpentry manager** to manage and oversee our carpentry and joinery operations for **interior fit\-out, custom joinery, and furniture projects**. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of carpentry and joinery production, excellent understanding of interior and joinery details, and the ability to efficiently manage the workshop, production team, materials, machinery, and project requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and supervise the day\-to\-day operations of the carpentry/joinery workshop. * Plan and organize production for joinery, furniture, and interior fit\-out projects. * Review and understand **interior design drawings, shop drawings, joinery details, and technical specifications**. * Coordinate with designers, project managers, site teams, and procurement to ensure smooth production and installation. * Manage carpenters, machine operators, painters/polishers, and other workshop personnel. * Allocate manpower and machinery according to production requirements. * Monitor production schedules and ensure projects are completed according to deadlines. * Ensure high\-quality workmanship and finishing standards. * Prepare material requirements and minimize material wastage. * Supervise cutting, fabrication, assembly, finishing, and preparation for site installation. * Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of workshop machinery. * Conduct quality inspections before finished items are dispatched to site. * Solve technical and production issues related to joinery and furniture manufacturing. * Maintain proper organization, safety, and cleanliness within the workshop. **Requirements:** * Minimum **5 years of experience managing a carpentry/joinery workshop**, preferably in the UAE. * Strong experience in **joinery, custom furniture, and interior fit\-out projects**. * Excellent understanding of **interior details, joinery details, shop drawings, and production methods**. * Strong knowledge of different types of **wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, solid wood, decorative panels, hardware, adhesives, and finishing materials**. * Excellent knowledge of carpentry and joinery machinery, including **panel saws, edge banding machines, CNC machines, routers, planers, sanding machines, drilling machines, and other workshop equipment**. * Ability to plan production, estimate material requirements, and control wastage. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate workshop teams. * Good problem\-solving and organizational skills. * Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. * Knowledge of quality control and workshop safety procedures. * **Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.** * Must be currently based in the UAE or have relevant UAE experience. **Salary Package:** AED **5,000 – 8,000 per month**, based on experience and technical capabilities. We are looking for someone who can take full responsibility for the carpentry workshop and ensure that every project is produced with the required **quality, accuracy, efficiency, and on\-time delivery**.
