Carpenter

**Job Summary:** The Carpenter performs a variety of carpentry tasks including installations, repairs, and maintenance of wooden structures and components. This role ensures that all carpentry work is completed to high standards, contributing to the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of the facility. **Job Responsibilities:** **Installation:** · Install wooden structures and fixtures, including cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and flooring, according to blueprints, technical specifications, and building codes. · Construct and assemble furniture, shelving, and other custom woodwork as required by clients. **Repair:** · Inspect and repair damaged or worn wooden structures, such as framing, flooring, and cabinetry. · Replace or repair broken or malfunctioning components, including door frames, windowsills, and wooden panels. **Maintenance:** · Perform routine maintenance on wooden structures and fixtures to preserve their condition and functionality. · Sand, refinish, and seal wooden surfaces to protect against wear and environmental damage. · Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. **Skills \& Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree in Carpentry or a related field is a plus. * Proven experience as a carpenter, with experience in maintenance roles preferred. * Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. * Strong problem\-solving and troubleshooting abilities. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
