**Job Title:** Capital Gains Tax Valuation Expert **Location:** Qatar We are seeking an experienced **Capital Gains Tax Valuation Expert** to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in asset and liability valuation, taxation, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of Qatari tax regulations and international accounting standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct accurate valuations of assets and liabilities for capital gains tax purposes. * Evaluate corporate restructurings, mergers \& acquisitions, and related\-party transactions. * Apply internationally recognized valuation methodologies, including Market, Income, and Cost Approaches. * Support tax assessments, audits, and dispute resolution activities. * Collaborate with finance, legal, and audit teams to ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and reporting standards. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree preferred). * Minimum **10 years of experience** in tax auditing, including at least **5 years** with a government tax authority or similar regulatory body. * Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS, particularly **IFRS 13, IFRS 3, and IAS 36**. * In\-depth understanding of the **Qatari Income Tax Law**, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and GCC tax frameworks. * Excellent analytical, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage. **Preferred Certifications** * ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) * CBV (Chartered Business Valuator) * CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) * IFRS Certification or equivalent internationally recognized qualification. **Interested candidates** who meet the above requirements are invited to share their updated CVs.
