Buyer/ Purchase Assistant - Walkin Chennai

• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing to secure cost savings and ensure supply chain efficiency. • Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders accurately and promptly, maintaining meticulous records for auditing and tracking. • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking, optimizing working capital. • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, demonstrating foundational knowledge. • Hold relevant certifications such as CIPS or CPSM, showcasing a commitment to professional development in procurement. • Have 5-10 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within the [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail] sector. • Exhibit strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate value and build rapport with stakeholders. Eligibility Criteria ✔ Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore ✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred ✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible Age Criteria: • Maximum age limit is 49 years • For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience Managerial and SR.
