Job description

• Identify new markets, business opportunities, and potential clients within the marine safety and communication market. • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets. • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders. • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business pitches to prospective clients. • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets. • Negotiate and close business deals while ensuring profitability. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support lead nurturing and conversions. • Prepare periodic business development reports and forecasts for management review. • Bachelor’s degree in any field; Master’s degree in Business Administration is a plus. • Strong knowledge of marine navigation equipment and integrated bridge systems for commercial vessels, offshore vessels, rigs, and workboats. • Familiarity with radar, ECDIS, GPS/GNSS, AIS, gyro compass, autopilot, echo sounder, speed log, and voyage data recorder (VDR). • Knowledge of marine internal communication systems for ships, offshore platforms, and rigs. • Experience with PABX/telephone systems, PA/GA systems, talk-back systems, sound-powered telephones, intercom systems, and alarm monitoring solutions. • Knowledge of marine CCTV systems, thermal cameras, access control, vessel security systems, and automation/integration solutions. • Understanding of VTS architecture, coastal surveillance systems, radar integration, AIS networks, meteorological sensors, and command-and-control solutions. • Knowledge of PMR communication solutions, including analog and digital radio systems (DMR, TETRA, P25), repeaters, dispatch systems, and marine communication networks. • Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills. • Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic accounts. • Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and project quotations.
