Business / Data Analyst

### **Job Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Business / Data Analyst** to support e\-invoicing and regulatory technology initiatives for a banking client. The role will focus on requirements gathering, business process analysis, data mapping, validation frameworks, and translating business requirements into clear functional specifications. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Gather, analyse, and document **business and functional requirements** for e\-invoicing and related banking processes. * Define **business rules, data validation rules, process flows, user journeys, and exception\-handling procedures**. * Analyse and document **error scenarios, error messages, correction, resubmission, and reconciliation processes**. * Develop **data mapping specifications** between source and target systems and validate data requirements. * Work with technology teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and acceptance criteria. * Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for **process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency**. * Support the definition of data quality, validation, audit, and compliance requirements. * Coordinate with business users, technology teams, compliance, tax, and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered. * Support **UAT, defect analysis, issue resolution, and business sign\-off**. ### **Required Skills \& Experience** * **5\+ years of experience** as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Functional Analyst, preferably within banking, financial services, or regulated environments. * Strong experience in **requirements gathering, business process analysis, data mapping, and functional documentation**. * Practical experience with **e\-invoicing, tax compliance, invoicing, or regulatory technology** is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of **data validation, business rules, exception handling, and reconciliation processes**. * Experience preparing **process flows, user journeys, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria**. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities with good attention to detail. * Experience working with **banking or enterprise applications, APIs, and integration teams** will be an advantage. **Skills:** Business Analysis , Data Mapping , Requirements Gathering
