The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is a fast growing market for Viasat several campaigns being pursued by in the Government sector. The candidate will be responsible for all business develpment activities in KSA and the GCC region with a primary focus on KSA. They will be responsible for lead generation, opportunity development, campaign management with the business areas and stakeholder management with a focus on pipeline generation. The candidate needs to have a good working knowlegde of KSA and the region, a strong background in government sector business and the ability to work cross\-domain, cross\-functional and cross\-business in virtual team set\-ups. The solutions that will be developed and delivered will allow government customers to deliver mission\-critical communications and assure end users that they can operate with confidence to deliver outcomes. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to work with business areas, business units, functional leaders and team members and corporate functions. Given the importance of the region there will be significant exposure with senior leadership. **The day\-to\-day** What’s the day\-to\-day like for this candidate? * Defining and owning the strategy and deliverables that will enable business growth * Developing the long term pipeline that will form part of the VIG long range business plan * Developing new business with support from the business areas * Collaborating across business functions to support in\-country activity * Leading and managing stakeholder engagement * Leading in\-country campaigns with the business areas * Developing business cases to support in\-country activity that will increase Viasat Pwin * Working with strategic advisors **What you'll need** * The ability to work with a diverse cross\-business, cross\-funtional team * Self\-motivated, passionate and confident to work in\-region, often on their own with support from the business * Minimum 10 years experience in working with government business * Defence prime/OEM experience essential (working with or for) * Satellite Communications and/or Space Sector experience **What will help you on the job** * Experience engaging in public forums and public speaking (voice of the business in country) * Solid understanding of satellite communications use cases in government context * Ability to simplify complex solutions to enable stronger customer engagement at the solutions phase \- benefits of our solutions in customer mission sets * Postgraduate degree in a tecnical, business or international relations discipline **EEO Statement** Viasat is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
