Barista

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer\-focused **Barista** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high\-quality coffee and beverages while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming café environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso\-based beverages, and other drinks according to company standards. * Greet customers, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently. * Recommend menu items and promote seasonal beverages and food offerings. * Ensure excellent customer service by responding professionally to customer inquiries and requests. * Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, workstations, and equipment at all times. * Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages to the supervisor. * Restock ingredients, cups, and other supplies as required. * Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations. * Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary. * Support opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and equipment cleaning. * Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications \& Experience * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum **1–2 years of experience** as a Barista or in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment. * Experience preparing espresso\-based beverages using commercial coffee machines. * Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage preparation techniques. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and multitask effectively. * Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. * Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
