About the Position: Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Bar Manager - Lebanese to join the resort s Food & Beverage team. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the bar team to maintain high standards of service and positive morale.
Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to maintain optimal par levels and minimize waste.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations; implement corrective actions when necessary.
Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop new cocktails and update beverage menus, ensuring alignment with current trends and guest preferences.
Resolve escalated guest complaints promptly and effectively to uphold guest satisfaction and the establishment s reputation.
Prepare beverages accurately according to recipes and company standards.
Assess guests needs and preferences, offering tailored recommendations and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Serve food and drinks professionally and courteously, always adhering to high standards.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items and confidently describe them to guests.
Ensure the bar counter is clean and well-maintained for guest comfort.
Accurately charge customers, present bills promptly, and handle payments according to procedures.
Refer guest concerns to the Beverage Manager or General Manager as appropriate, ensuring personalized service.
Set up the bar daily according to standard procedures and par levels.
Clean all designated areas following daily routines and hygiene protocols.
Uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress code.
Participate in meetings and training to stay updated and improve service quality.
Check identification when necessary to confirm legal drinking age requirements.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in bartending and bar management within upscale or luxury hospitality establishments, with a proven ability to lead teams and oversee daily operations.
• Expert-level knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, wine, and current beverage trends, enabling the creation and development of innovative menus that appeal to diverse guest preferences.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing bar operations, including inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and maintaining optimal par levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to resolve escalated guest concerns professionally and maintain a welcoming, high-quality guest experience.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to mentor, motivate, and train bar employees, fostering a positive team environment and high standards of service.
• Comprehensive understanding of POS systems, financial procedures, and handling cash or card transactions accurately and securely.
• Formal bartending certification or recognized hospitality management training preferred; ongoing commitment to professional development and learning.
