ROLE PURPOSE As an \*\*Automotive Technician\*\*, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and corrective work while ensuring every vehicle meets ROX UAE's technical, safety, and quality standards. You will support the daily operations of the service center by delivering reliable technical solutions, maintaining operational efficiency, and contributing to an exceptional customer experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \* Conduct thorough vehicle assessments. \* Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance. \* Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality. \* Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and technical concerns. \* Complete assigned technical tasks safely and efficiently. \* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. \* Follow job cards, repair instructions, and technical documentation. \* Report technical concerns, delays, or additional findings promptly. \* Operate workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices correctly. \* Handle company and customer vehicles with professionalism and care. \* Perform routine servicing, technical checks, and corrective work according to approved procedures. \* Examine major vehicle systems including braking, steering, suspension, drivetrain, engine, cooling system, tires, and fluid levels. \* Verify completed work before submitting vehicles for quality inspection and final handover. \* Complete assigned jobs within approved procedures and required timelines. \* Investigate warning indicators, unusual noises, drivability concerns, and performance\-related issues. \* Recommend replacement components, identify safety concerns, and report any additional work required. \* Operate hand tools, specialized equipment, lifting systems, and diagnostic technology in accordance with safety standards. \* Coordinate effectively with Service Advisors, Team Leaders, Quality Control, Spare Parts, and Workshop Management. \* Read and follow technical manuals, inspection reports, service documentation, and manufacturer guidelines when required. \* Ensure all work protects customer vehicles, company assets, passengers, and road users. \* Maintain confidentiality of customer information, technical records, repair reports, and company documentation. \* Demonstrate professionalism, technical accuracy, attention to detail, and a positive attitude while representing the Service Department. \* Comply with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures. \* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, workmanship, documentation, and customer satisfaction. \* Support vehicle preparation, technical campaigns, urgent requests, customer concerns, VIP vehicles, and other operational priorities when required. QUALIFICATIONS \* Proven troubleshooting and technical problem\-solving skills. \* Valid UAE driving license is preferred. \* Strong attention to detail and accuracy. \* Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic processes. \* Good communication and teamwork skills. \* Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct. \* Ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred. \* Arabic or additional language skills are considered an advantage. \* Ability to work under pressure and complete assignments within deadlines. \* Ability to read job cards, technical manuals, inspection reports, and service documentation. \* Ability to identify mechanical concerns, maintenance requirements, and quality issues. \* Solid understanding of powertrain, braking, steering, suspension, electrical, cooling, and drivetrain systems. \* Ability to coordinate professionally with Service Advisors, Team Leaders, Quality Control, Spare Parts teams, fellow Technicians, and Management. \* Previous experience in a technical automotive role within a dealership, service facility, or authorized repair center. \* Minimum \*\*3–5 years\*\* of hands\-on experience in automotive servicing, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and technical repairs, preferably within dealership, premium automotive, luxury automotive, or authorized service center environments. WORK CONDITIONS \* Full\-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. \* Based within a busy automotive service facility supporting daily technical operations. \* Rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts as required. \* Regular use of workshop equipment, lifting systems, diagnostic devices, inspection reports, technical manuals, and internal systems. \* Continuous standing, walking, lifting, inspection, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical work throughout working hours. \* Daily collaboration with Technicians, Service Advisors, Team Leaders, Quality Controllers, Spare Parts teams, Drivers, Customers, Suppliers, and Management. \* May require extended working hours during urgent repairs, customer escalations, technical campaigns, VIP requests, repeat concerns, or periods of high operational demand. **WHAT WE OFFER** \* Competitive compensation and benefits package. \* Continuous learning and development opportunities. \* Professional, supportive, and collaborative work culture. \* Exposure to premium automotive operations and service center standards. \* Opportunity to grow within a dynamic and expanding automotive organization.
