Audit Executive

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Audit Execution Plan and execute statutory, internal, and external audits for UAE-based clients Review financial statements, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance Prepare and finalize audit working papers, audit programs, and audit reports Assess internal controls and identify areas of risk or non-compliance Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards Compliance & Regulatory Ensure audit work complies with UAE regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, UAE Commercial Companies Law, VAT regulations where relevant) Support clients with corporate tax and VAT-related audit considerations Stay current with UAE audit, tax, and regulatory updates Client & Team Coordination Liaise directly with client management for audit queries, clarifications, and data requirements Coordinate with the India team for cross-border assignments and group audits Supervise and review the work of junior audit staff/articled trainees, where applicable Reporting Draft clear, well-supported audit reports and management letters Present audit findings to partners/clients with practical recommendations What We're Looking For ? Chartered Accountant (CA) - qualified member of ICAI or equivalent recognized body (mandatory) 13 years of post-qualification experience in statutory/external audit Strong working knowledge of IFRS and audit standards (ISA) Proficiency in Excel and audit/accounting software Excellent written and spoken English UAE audit/compliance exposure preferred, though not mandatory Willingness to relocate to / be based in Dubai
