The role is responsible for ensuring operational plans are executed efficiently, accurately and safely while maintaining **fresh\-produce quality, inventory accuracy, cold\-chain requirements, FIFO/FEFO compliance and customer service levels**. The position requires strong warehouse leadership, manpower management and hands\-on operational control in a fast\-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** **Warehouse Operations** * Manage assigned warehouse shifts, operational zones and daily activities. * Oversee receiving, put\-away, storage, replenishment, picking, staging and dispatch. * Ensure warehouse activities are completed according to daily operational plans. * Monitor order volumes, workload and operational priorities throughout the shift. * Ensure orders are completed before customer and dispatch cut\-off times. * Conduct regular floor inspections and maintain strong operational visibility. * Identify operational bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action. * Maintain proper warehouse discipline, housekeeping and storage practices. **Fruits \& Vegetables Operations** * Ensure proper handling and storage of fresh fruits and vegetables. * Monitor product movement to minimize damage, spoilage and handling losses. * Ensure correct storage conditions are maintained for fresh produce. * Monitor shelf\-life and product ageing. * Ensure strict FIFO/FEFO compliance. * Ensure rejected, damaged, expired and hold stock is properly segregated. * Coordinate with Quality and QHSE teams regarding product condition, food safety and temperature deviations. * Ensure fresh produce is picked, staged and dispatched according to product and customer requirements. **Manpower \& Shift Management** * Plan and deploy manpower according to workload and operational priorities. * Ensure supervisors allocate employees effectively across warehouse activities. * Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime and productivity. * Conduct or ensure completion of shift\-start briefings. * Monitor individual and team productivity. * Reallocate manpower during the shift based on changing operational requirements. * Coach supervisors and warehouse associates on operational performance and discipline. **Receiving \& Put\-Away** * Ensure incoming products are received and processed according to schedule. * Monitor unloading, quantity verification and receiving documentation. * Coordinate with QC/QHSE teams for fresh\-produce quality checks. * Ensure accepted stock is moved quickly to the correct storage location. * Monitor receiving and put\-away turnaround times. * Escalate receiving delays, shortages and quality concerns. **Picking \& Order Fulfilment** * Ensure picking activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines. * Monitor picking accuracy and productivity. * Ensure correct SKU, quantity and customer order requirements are followed. * Investigate picking shortages and discrepancies. * Prioritize urgent or high\-volume customer orders where required. * Ensure orders are processed correctly for retail, wholesale, HORECA or E\-commerce requirements. **Staging \& Dispatch** * Ensure completed orders are staged correctly according to customer, route and vehicle. * Monitor loading and dispatch activities. * Ensure products are loaded safely and without damage. * Coordinate with Transport teams to ensure vehicle availability. * Monitor dispatch cut\-off and departure times. * Escalate and resolve delays before they impact customer deliveries. * Ensure dispatch documentation and system transactions are completed accurately. **Inventory \& Location Control** * Ensure inventory and location discipline is maintained. * Coordinate with Inventory teams to investigate stock discrepancies. * Ensure physical movements are correctly updated in WMS/ERP systems. * Support cycle counts and stock verification. * Monitor location accuracy. * Ensure stock adjustments are supported by proper investigation and authorization. **Cold Chain \& Quality Compliance** * Monitor temperature\-controlled warehouse activities. * Ensure temperature deviations are reported immediately. * Ensure fresh produce is not unnecessarily exposed outside controlled conditions. * Support compliance with food safety, hygiene and GMP requirements. * Work closely with Quality and QHSE teams on corrective actions. **Equipment \& Resource Management** * Ensure required material\-handling equipment is available and operational. * Monitor availability of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and handheld devices. * Escalate equipment breakdowns promptly. * Ensure equipment is used safely and effectively. **Safety \& Compliance** * Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures. * Monitor PPE compliance. * Ensure forklift and pedestrian segregation. * Maintain clear aisles, emergency exits and loading areas. * Support safety inspections and audits. * Ensure employees comply with food\-safety and hygiene procedures. **Reporting \& Coordination** * Prepare daily and weekly warehouse performance reports. * Track productivity, inventory accuracy, dispatch performance and manpower utilization. * Report operational issues to the Operations Manager. * Coordinate with Inventory, Quality, QHSE, Transport, Maintenance, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams. * Ensure accurate shift handover. * Act as Operations Manager during the Manager’s absence when required. **Education \& Qualifications** * **Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Operations Management or a related discipline preferred.** * Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehouse Management may be considered for candidates with strong relevant experience. * Professional certification in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain or Logistics is an advantage. * HACCP or Food Safety certification is an advantage. * Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement qualifications are desirable. **Experience Required** * Minimum **5–7 years of warehouse operations experience**. * Minimum **2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role**. * **UAE warehouse experience is required.** * **Previous experience in Fruits \& Vegetables or E\-commerce warehouse operations is preferred.** * Experience in any of the following sectors will be an advantage: * Fresh Produce, Fruits \& Vegetables, E\-commerce Fulfilment, FMCG, Cold Store, Food Distribution, 3PL. * Experience managing high\-volume receiving, picking and dispatch operations. * Experience in fresh\-produce handling, FIFO/FEFO and temperature\-controlled operations preferred. *
