Assistant Production Manager

**Assistant Production Manager – PVC \& PE Pipe Manufacturing** **Location:** Oman **Industry:** PVC \& HDPE/PE Pipe Manufacturing **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Join Our Growing Team!** We are seeking an experienced and results\-driven **Assistant Production Manager** to support and oversee operations in our PVC and PE Pipe Manufacturing Plant. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in planning and managing daily production activities to meet output targets. * Supervise PVC and HDPE/PE extrusion lines and ensure efficient machine utilization. * Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments for smooth operations. * Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with applicable standards. * Minimize downtime, waste, and production losses through continuous improvement initiatives. * Lead and motivate production supervisors, operators, and plant personnel. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. * Prepare and review production reports, KPIs, and operational performance data. **Requirements** ✅ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, or a related field. ✅ Minimum 5\-10 years of experience in PVC/HDPE/PE pipe manufacturing. ✅ At least 2\-3 years' experience in a supervisory or production management role. ✅ Strong knowledge of: * PVC \& PE pipe extrusion processes * Extrusion lines, vacuum tanks, cooling systems, haul\-offs, and cutting equipment * Quality standards and production planning * Manufacturing ERP systems and MS Office ✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Career growth opportunities within a leading manufacturing company. * Professional and dynamic work environment. * Opportunity to contribute to operational excellence and plant expansion. **How to Apply** Interested candidates may send their updated CV to with the subject line: **"Application for Assistant Production Manager – PVC \& PE Pipe Manufacturing"** **Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.** Pay: From RO300\.000 per month Work Location: In person
