Assistant Nurse **Location:** Smart Care Poly Clinic, Doha Centre, Deira, Dubai Job Summary Smart Care Poly Clinic is looking for a **dedicated and experienced Assistant Nurse** to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate must have **strong practical experience in both Dental and Gynecology departments**, in addition to general nursing and outpatient clinic experience. The candidate should be compassionate, professional, well\-organized, and capable of assisting doctors effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care, infection control, and clinical safety. Key Responsibilities **General Nursing \& Patient Care** * Assist doctors and nurses during patient consultations, examinations, and clinical procedures. * Record and monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormal findings to the doctor. * Assist with injections, blood collection, wound dressing, ECG, IV procedures, and other nursing duties within the scope of qualification. * Prepare patients for consultations and procedures and ensure their comfort and privacy. * Assist in managing urgent and emergency situations according to clinic protocols. * Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and EMR documentation. * Follow medication safety, infection\-control, sterilization, and patient\-safety procedures. * Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and properly prepared. * Monitor clinical supplies and inform the concerned person about shortages or required replacements. **Dental Responsibilities – Mandatory Experience** * Assist the dentist during dental examinations, procedures, and treatments. * Prepare dental rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures. * Assist with chair\-side procedures and provide appropriate support to the dentist. * Handle, clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments according to infection\-control standards. * Prepare dental materials and maintain proper organization of dental equipment. * Support patient preparation and post\-procedure instructions. * Maintain proper dental treatment documentation and assist with EMR updates. **Gynecology Responsibilities – Mandatory Experience** * Assist the gynecologist during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures. * Prepare the patient, examination room, instruments, and required supplies. * Assist during gynecological procedures while maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and comfort. * Follow proper infection\-control and sterilization procedures for gynecology equipment and instruments. * Assist with specimen collection and handling as instructed by the physician. * Provide appropriate pre\- and post\-procedure nursing support. * Ensure all relevant patient information and procedures are properly documented. Requirements * Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant Assistant Nursing qualification. * Relevant experience in a **clinic or outpatient healthcare setting**. * **Strong practical experience in Dental/Dentistry is mandatory.** * **Strong practical experience in Gynecology is mandatory.** * Good knowledge of general nursing procedures and patient care. * Knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and clinical safety protocols. * BLS/CPR certification preferred. * DHA eligibility/license will be an advantage. * Good knowledge of EMR and clinical documentation. * Excellent communication and patient\-handling skills. * Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, dental staff, and other team members. * Professional appearance, positive attitude, punctuality, and strong sense of responsibility. * Ability to work efficiently in a busy multi\-specialty clinic environment. Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate will be someone who can **confidently support both the Dental and Gynecology departments while also handling routine nursing responsibilities** across a multi\-specialty clinic.
