Assistant Nurse – Home Healthcare

Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse to support our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist registered nurses with daily patient care, monitor patient conditions, and ensure patients receive safe, professional, and compassionate care in a home healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. • Support nurses in delivering patient care according to care plans. • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes in their condition. • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. • Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse. • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients. • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times. • Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with patients and their families. • Accompany patients to medical appointments when required. • Perform other nursing support duties as assigned. • Diploma or Certificate in Nursing or Assistant Nursing. • DHA License or Eligibility • Home healthcare or hospital experience is preferred. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional attitude. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Basic computer and documentation skills.
