Assistant Mechanic - Heavy Trucks & Buses

· Performing oil changes, coolant flushes, and transmission fluid swaps. · Inspecting and replacing pads, rotors, drums, and brake liners. · Replacing spark plugs, air filters, and fuel filters to maintain engine efficiency. · Checking for leaks, worn belts, cracked hoses, and suspension play. · Testing and replacing batteries, alternators, and starter motors. · Assist in **complete dismantling of diesel engines** (removal of cylinder head, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, etc.) **·** Assist in **replacement of gaskets, seals, piston rings, and bearings** **·** Help in **engine installation, alignment, and initial startup checks** · Assist in checking for **oil leaks, abnormal noise, and performance issues** after overhaul **·** Assist in **removal and dismantling of gearbox assemblies** **·** Assist in **testing gear shifting performance** after installation **·** Assist in **removal of clutch assembly and related components** **·** Assist in checking **air brake systems, hoses, valves, and compressors** **·** Ensure use of **correct tools and torque procedures** · Attend vehicle breakdowns and roadside repairs and provide technical support to restore vehicles safely and promptly.
