Assistant Engineering Manager (Civil)

##### **Overview** #### **Job Details:** Oversee the administrative and operational coordination of construction projects to maintain smooth workflow, timely execution, and accurate project documentation. Prepare detailed cost tables, budget summaries, material quantity calculations, and other project estimates required for effective planning and resource control. Develop, review, update, and organize construction documentation, including topographic surveys, architectural drawings, structural plans, and related technical documents. Carry out structural calculations for steel and concrete elements while ensuring results comply with project specifications, technical requirements, and applicable engineering standards. Supervise project personnel and coordinate daily activities between construction sites and office operations to maintain efficient execution. Monitor material stocks, equipment availability, and resource requirements to ensure necessary supplies are available according to project schedules. Prepare regular project progress reports covering costs, material usage, resource allocation, completed work, timelines, and key milestones. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal departments to resolve routine project matters and maintain effective communication. Maintain complete and organized project records, technical drawings, calculations, plans, and other documentation, ensuring all information remains current and accessible. Assist with identifying potential project delays, material requirements, or technical issues and communicate them to the relevant management or project personnel. #### **Job Experience Requirements:** University education or ongoing studies in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience working as a Draftsman, Quantity Calculator, Structural Calculator, or in a similar construction\-related position, including experience with steel and concrete structures. Practical experience in construction planning, quantity takeoffs, material estimation, cost calculations, and integration of project costs. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, or comparable structural and technical design software. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to perform calculations, prepare tables, organize project data, and support reporting activities. Strong attention to detail with an organized and analytical approach to technical calculations and construction documentation. Ability to coordinate with site personnel, contractors, suppliers, and office teams while managing multiple project responsibilities. Availability to work Monday through Friday, with a half\-day on Saturday according to project requirements.
