Job purpose
As an Art Director, your primary responsibility is to provide creative direction and oversee the visual elements of a project or campaign. You will collaborate with a team of designers, illustrators, photographers, and other creative professionals to develop compelling and visually appealing artwork that aligns with the project s objectives and target audience.
Principal Responsibilities:

Creative Direction:
Provide guidance and vision to the creative team, ensuring the overall artistic direction is in line with the project's goals and brand identity.

Concept Development:
Generate innovative ideas and concepts for visual designs, considering the project's requirements and audience preferences.
•
Visual Design:
Create or review visual designs, including graphics, illustrations, layouts, and other artistic elements, to ensure they meet quality standards and project objectives.
•
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, photographers, copywriters, and other team members to develop cohesive and impactful visual campaigns.
•
Brand Management:
Maintain brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout all visual assets, ensuring they reflect the brand's values and image.
•
Project Management:
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
•
Client Interaction:
Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand their requirements, present creative concepts, and incorporate feedback to refine the artwork.

Stay Updated:
Keep abreast of industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the creative output and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Education:
•
Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
Experience:
•
7+ years of experience as an Art Director or Senior Art Director in the marketing, advertising, or events industry, with proven success in managing large-scale, high-profile creative projects.
•
Extensive experience leading creative teams and working closely with marketing, production, and event management teams.
•
Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing and delivering event branding, marketing campaigns, and digital/physical experiences for events.A robust portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful design work across a variety of media (digital, print, environmental, and interactive).
Skills:
•
A strong sense of visual storytelling and creative direction, with the ability to translate marketing strategies and event objectives into cutting-edge visual designs.
•
Mastery of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and composition, ensuring brand consistency and high creative standards.
•
Exceptional leadership skills to oversee and mentor a team of designers, junior art directors, and freelancers.
•
Ability to present and articulate creative concepts to clients and senior leadership, addressing feedback and refining work accordingly.
•
A strategic mindset to align creative direction with business objectives, marketing goals, and brand positioning.
•
Ability to lead creative brainstorming sessions and provide innovative design solutions that elevate the overall experience for clients and event attendees.
•
Expert proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, 3D rendering tools like Cinema 4D, SketchUp, or similar).
•
Knowledge of emerging digital trends, including AR/VR, interactive installations, and experiential marketing technologies.
•
Keen attention to detail, ensuring that all visual assets are pixel-perfect, on-brand, and meet the highest quality standards.
•
Ability to oversee final output for events, including event branding, signage, and digital/print materials, ensuring a flawless execution.
Working Conditions:

High-pressure, deadline-driven environment, especially during peak event seasons or while managing multiple large-scale projects.

Frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams, including event managers, marketing strategists, and external vendors.

Flexibility to work extended hours during project execution and event launches.
