Application Analyst-Finacle

Domain experience: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in various core banking modules including trade finance / credit / payments / branch operations • Overall minimum 5 years of IT application support experience in a banking / financial institution / application vendor supporting banking solutions. • Experience in turnkey projects within banking industry. Project experience: Should have been part of minimum of 2 business application implementation / upgrade projects. Technical Experience: • Experience in the administration of banking business applications/testing/support. • Excellent banking business process knowledge. • Should be able to understand the business language and processes while communicating with business / management staff. • The candidate must be able to translate these business issues / processes to technical requirements. • Experience and understanding of compliance requirements of bank’s IT department. • Excellent understanding of enterprise application architecture and service delivery models • Experience in supporting Core Banking, Swift, AML and other banking applications. • Exposure to core banking / central bank payment applications would be considered as advantage. • Experience with DR activities of business applications. • The candidate must be aware of application security aspects and its impact. Should be experienced in user, role and process administration of applications. • Experience in handling the support cases in a high pressure SLA bound environment. ITIL process experience in an organization with more than 500 staff is preferred. • Experience with any helpdesk systems is required. • Good troubleshooting skills and logical approach towards problem solving. • Should have understanding of technical architecture and be able to discuss with infrastructure and development teams in these matters. • Should have experience in various testing/UAT methods mainly from application / process point of view in a projectized environment. • The candidate must have good presentation skills and should be able to precisely summarize the application support statistics / prepare reports as required. • Candidates must be able to prepare the test cases based on the application, use cases and control perspective. • Good knowledge of PLSQL and scripting are added advantage. • Exposure and experience in Unix / AIX / Windows platforms would be an advantage.
