Agricultural Specialist

Job Overview Rays Gida Oman is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive **Agricultural Specialist** to optimize crop yield, evaluate soil/irrigation management, and oversee sustainable farming practices. In this role, you will work closely with field teams, introduce modern agricultural techniques, and ensure product quality and supply chain efficiency for our food and agricultural operations. Key Responsibilities * Oversee crop management, soil health analysis, and irrigation systems to maximize quality and yield. * Inspect field conditions, diagnose crop pests/diseases, and implement safe, effective treatment plans. * Advise management on sustainable farming practices, seed selection, and modern agricultural technology. * Monitor compliance with agricultural safety, quality control standards, and environmental regulations. * Prepare field evaluations, yield forecasts, and operational reports for executive review. * Collaborate with supply chain and distribution teams to manage harvest scheduling and product freshness. Requirements \& Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Horticulture, or a related discipline. * 3\+ years of experience in agricultural operations, crop management, or farm advisement. * Strong knowledge of arid\-climate farming, irrigation technology, pest control, and soil conservation. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and field management skills. * Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
