JOB DESCRIPTION Admin cum Junior Accountant Job Title Admin cum Junior Accountant Department Finance & Administration Reports To Finance Manager / General Manager Employment Type Full-Time Location [Company Location] JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin cum Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks while supporting the finance team with basic accounting duties. This is a dual-function role requiring strong multitasking abilities, accuracy in financial record-keeping, and excellent organizational skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting & Finance Duties • Assist in maintaining day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records • Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash on a regular basis • Assist with data entry into accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) • Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports under supervision • Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accurate records of transactions • Assist with VAT documentation and filing in compliance with UAE regulations • Support the finance team during internal and external audits Administrative Duties • Manage day-to-day office administration, including correspondence and filing • Maintain and organize physical and digital records/documents • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers • Handle procurement of office supplies and maintain inventory records • Assist with HR-related administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and document management • Support scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements • Answer phone calls, emails, and greet visitors professionally • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Education • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Experience • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or administrative roles • Experience in the UAE market is an advantage Software & Technical Skills • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) • Basic knowledge of VAT and UAE accounting regulations preferred Skills • Strong numerical and analytical skills • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive salary based on experience • Opportunities for professional growth and development • A collaborative and supportive work environment • [Additional benefits — e.g., medical insurance, annual leave, visa sponsorship] KEY COMPETENCIES Technical Skills Soft Skills Bookkeeping & reconciliation Communication Invoice & voucher processing Time management VAT documentation Attention to detail MS Excel & accounting software Multitasking Record & document management Discretion & integrity
