Job description
**Role Purpose**
The Activities Supervisor is responsible for the day\-to\-day operation and delivery of the Ras Al Ardh activities programme, ensuring members and their families have access to a varied, engaging and professionally delivered range of activities.
The role will lead the Activities team, coordinate daily programmes, maintain high standards of safety and presentation, and ensure every activity reflects the premium positioning of Ras Al Ardh.
The Activities Supervisor will be highly visible and hands\-on, actively engaging with members and participants while supporting the Family Manager in developing the overall family and activities proposition.
**1\. Activities Operations**
· Lead the daily operation of the activities programme.
· Ensure all scheduled activities start and finish on time.
· Coordinate activity instructors and team members.
· Allocate staff according to the daily programme.
· Monitor attendance and capacity.
· Ensure equipment and activity spaces are prepared before sessions.
· Manage changes, cancellations and substitutions.
· Ensure smooth communication between the Activities team and other departments.
· Complete daily operational checks.
**2\. Activity Programme**
· Support the Family Manager in creating a varied programme suitable for different ages and interests.
**Activities may include:**
· Kids’ sports.
· Football.
· Basketball.
· Tennis.
· Swimming\-related activities where appropriate.
· Dance.
· Martial arts.
· Arts and crafts.
· Games.
· Team challenges.
· Holiday camps.
· Family activities.
· Competitions and tournaments.
· Outdoor activities.
· Special events.
The programme should be regularly reviewed to ensure it remains fresh, relevant and well attended.
**3\. Member Experience**
· Welcome participants and families.
· Create a fun, energetic and inclusive environment.
· Build relationships with regular participants.
· Understand member and family preferences.
· Encourage participation and repeat attendance.
· Ensure activities cater for different abilities where appropriate.
· Gather feedback from members and parents.
· Identify opportunities to improve the activity experience.
**Member experience objective:**
· The objective is for members to feel that Ras Al Ardh offers an experience, not simply a timetable of classes.
**4\. Team Leadership**
· Lead and motivate Activities team members.
· Conduct daily team briefings.
· Allocate instructors to sessions.
· Monitor punctuality and attendance.
· Observe activities and provide feedback.
· Coach team members on engagement and service standards.
· Support recruitment and onboarding.
· Identify training and development requirements.
· Ensure instructors understand club policies and procedures.
· Recognise excellent performance.
· Address performance issues appropriately.
**5\. Safety \& Risk Management**
· Safety is a key responsibility of the role.
· Ensure appropriate supervision during all activities.
· Follow club health and safety procedures.
· Ensure appropriate staff\-to\-participant ratios.
· Complete equipment safety checks.
· Ensure activities are appropriate for the age and ability of participants.
· Follow emergency procedures.
· Ensure accidents and incidents are reported correctly.
· Remove damaged or unsafe equipment immediately.
· Escalate safeguarding concerns where applicable.
· Ensure instructors understand emergency and first\-aid procedures.
**6\. Equipment \& Facilities**
· Ensure activity areas are clean, safe and ready for use.
· Check equipment before sessions.
· Maintain appropriate equipment storage.
· Report damaged or missing equipment.
· Monitor equipment requirements.
· Support regular stocktaking.
· Ensure equipment is returned and stored correctly after use.
**7\. Events \& Special Programmes**
· Support the Family Manager with the delivery of:
**Programmes and events may include:**
· Family events.
· Kids’ events.
· Holiday programmes.
· School\-holiday camps.
· Sports tournaments.
· Competitions.
· Themed activity days.
· Family challenges.
· Member social events.
· Seasonal programmes.
· Open days and promotional events.
Ensure events are properly planned, staffed and delivered.
**8\. Attendance \& Engagement**
· Monitor attendance across the programme.
· Identify low\-performing activities.
· Identify popular activities with potential for additional sessions.
· Monitor waiting lists.
· Recommend timetable changes.
· Encourage repeat participation.
· Support member engagement campaigns.
· Work with Marketing/Media to promote activities.
**9\. Commercial Awareness**
· Although primarily an experience\-led role, the Activities Supervisor should understand the commercial impact of participation.
· Support paid activity programmes, holiday camps, special events, children’s parties, private coaching, activity packages, family membership engagement and cross\-selling appropriate club services.
· Identify opportunities to increase participation and revenue without compromising the member experience.

Pay: From KD450\.000 per month
