ACCOUNTING HEAD

ACCOUNTING HEAD directs a company's financial operations, manages the accounting team, and ensures all financial reports and transactions comply with laws and standards. They bridge daily bookkeeping with high\-level business strategy. Core Financial Operations * Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. * Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book closings. * Ensure accurate, timely production of balance sheets and profit\-and\-loss statements. * Oversee treasury and cash flow forecasting. Compliance and Internal Controls * Enforce adherence to standard accounting frameworks like GAAP or IFRS. * Build and monitor internal financial controls to reduce asset risk. * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Oversee tax computation, filings, and regulatory reporting. Budgeting and Strategy * Build annual budgets alongside executive leadership. * Track budget variances and recommend cost corrections. * Offer financial advice to support executive decision\-making.
