Accountant (Oman Experience Required)

Job Description We are looking for a detail\-oriented and experienced **Accountant** to join our growing team in Oman. The ideal candidate must have hands\-on experience working in the Sultanate of Oman, a strong understanding of local accounting practices, and be **currently available inside Oman** for an immediate or quick start. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day\-to\-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. * Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports. * Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and monthly closing of accounts. * Assist with VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with Oman tax laws. * Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required. * Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and local regulations. Requirements \& Qualifications: * **Experience:** Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience **working in Oman**. * **Location:** Must be physically present in Oman with a valid visa status (Transferable). * **Education:** Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. (Or part qualified of professional accountancy programs as well welcome) * **Skills:** Proficiency in latest accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Strong communication skills in English.
