Accountant (Odoo Specialist)

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail\-oriented **Accountant (Odoo Specialist)** to manage our company’s accounting operations within the Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of financial management, including **invoice processing, payment collection, reconciliation, and reporting**, while ensuring accurate and timely accounting records. You will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow by following up on customer payments, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting management in financial decision\-making. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage the **Odoo Accounting Module** including invoices, payments, and journal entries. * **Create and send customer invoices**, monitor payment status, and follow up for collections. * Record and reconcile **vendor bills**, purchase orders, and expense entries. * Perform **bank reconciliations**, verify transactions, and ensure accurate financial data. * Maintain and update **accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers**. * Generate **monthly financial statements** (P\&L, Balance Sheet, Aging Reports). * Support the management team with **cash flow tracking** and **budgeting reports**. * Ensure compliance with **accounting regulations**. * Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure accurate recording of sales and purchases. * Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting data within Odoo. * Coordinate with auditors or external accountants when required. **Qualifications \& Skills** * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration**. * Minimum **2–4 years of accounting experience**, preferably in a trading or supply business. * Hands\-on experience with **Odoo Accounting Module** (mandatory). * Familiarity with **QuickBooks** or similar accounting software is a plus. * Strong understanding of **accounts receivable, payables, and reconciliation processes**. * Excellent knowledge of **MS Excel** and financial reporting. * Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage client payment follow\-ups. **Preferred Attributes** * Experience in **import/export or trading companies**. * Knowledge of **Qatar’s laws and compliance procedures**. * Ability to work independently and manage accounting operations end\-to\-end.
