Accountant / Auditor / Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and experienced finance professional to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, financial analysis, and statutory compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound financial knowledge, and the ability to support management with strategic financial insights and business decision making. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting \& Financial Management * Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions. * Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital. * Process payroll and related accounting entries when required. * Ensure timely month\-end and year\-end closing activities. Financial Planning \& Analysis * Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models. * Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. * Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPIs. * Conduct profitability analysis by project, department, or business unit. * Provide financial recommendations to support strategic business decisions. * Assist management in cost optimization and financial planning. Financial Control * Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls. * Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures. * Review and improve financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. * Monitor expenditures and ensure budget compliance. * Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Audit \& Compliance * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP, as applicable). * Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. * Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities. * Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports. Reporting * Prepare monthly management reports and financial presentations. * Present financial insights to senior management. * Generate ad hoc reports as requested by leadership. * Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for management review. Process Improvement * Recommend and implement automation and process improvements. * Support ERP/accounting software implementation and optimization. * Develop financial policies, SOPs, and internal control procedures. * Assist in digital transformation initiatives within the finance department. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is preferred. * Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, or financial control. * Experience in the IT, software, or technology industry is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables, financial modeling). * Experience with ERP systems or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar platforms. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and organizational skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. * High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
