Job description

We are looking for a highly organized, trustworthy, and proactive **Accountant \& Administrative Officer** to join our restaurant and lounge team. This is a hands\-on role for someone who is comfortable managing daily accounts while supporting the administrative operations of a fast\-paced hospitality business. **Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting \& Finance** * Record daily sales, expenses, and financial transactions. * Reconcile cash, POS systems, bank accounts, and payment gateways. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. * Process supplier invoices and payments. * Manage petty cash and expense claims. * Prepare payroll and staff\-related financial records. * Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operating expenses. * Assist with VAT compliance and external auditors. * Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. **Administration** * Handle supplier communications and purchase orders. * Organize contracts, licenses, permits, and company documents. * Support HR administration, including staff records, attendance, and leave tracking. * Coordinate with government entities (LMRA, SIO, CR renewals, etc.) when required. * Manage office supplies and administrative procurement. * Prepare reports, presentations, and internal correspondence. * Assist management with operational and administrative tasks. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **2\-3 years** of accounting experience (hospitality experience is an advantage). * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping. * Experience using accounting software * Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. * Strong organizational and time\-management abilities. * High level of integrity and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage). **Preferred Skills** * Experience in restaurants, cafés, bars, or hospitality businesses. * Knowledge of Bahrain's VAT regulations and payroll processes. * Familiarity with POS systems. * Experience dealing with government procedures and company administration. **What We're Looking For** * Honest and dependable. * Proactive with a problem\-solving mindset. * Comfortable working in a dynamic hospitality environment. * Able to multitask and prioritize effectively. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
