Academic Director **Company:** Mini Kampus II **Location:** Damascus Street, Hawalli, Hawalli Governorate, Kuwait **Salary:** **KWD 1,650 per month** Job Summary Mini Kampus II is seeking an experienced and visionary **Academic Director** to lead the institution's academic operations and ensure excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and student success. Based in Hawalli, Kuwait, the Academic Director will oversee academic programs, support faculty development, maintain educational quality standards, and implement strategic initiatives that promote innovation and continuous improvement. This leadership role is ideal for an education professional with strong academic management experience and a passion for fostering an engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide strategic leadership for all academic programs, ensuring alignment with the institution's mission and educational objectives. * Oversee curriculum development, implementation, review, and continuous improvement. * Supervise and support faculty members through coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives. * Monitor teaching quality, learning outcomes, and student academic performance to ensure educational excellence. * Develop and implement academic policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards. * Manage academic scheduling, program planning, and resource allocation. * Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable educational regulations. * Collaborate with administrative departments to enhance student services, admissions, and academic support programs. * Analyze academic performance data and prepare reports for senior leadership. * Manage departmental budgets and oversee efficient utilization of academic resources. * Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across academic departments. * Represent the institution at academic meetings, conferences, and community events. Qualifications * Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Academic Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. A doctoral degree is an advantage. * Minimum of **7 years** of experience in education, including at least **3 years** in an academic leadership or management role. * Strong knowledge of curriculum development, educational assessment, faculty management, and quality assurance practices. * Experience with academic management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and learning management systems (LMS). * Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision\-making skills. * Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive institutional improvement.
