##### **Location:** **Abu Dhabi, UAE** **Employment Type:** **Full\-Time** **Reports To:** **BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Coordinator** ##### **Position Summary** ##### **iTech Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly motivated** **Senior BIM Engineer – MEP (Mechanical Specialist)** **to join its Digital Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and reviewing MEP BIM models with a primary focus on Mechanical systems while supporting multidisciplinary coordination activities and ensuring compliance with project BIM standards.** ##### **The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mechanical BIM modeling, MEP coordination, digital project delivery, and quality assurance. The role requires the ability to independently manage discipline\-specific BIM production while providing technical support and guidance to BIM Engineers and BIM Modelers.** ##### **Key Responsibilities** ##### **BIM Modeling \& Project Delivery** * Develop, maintain, and manage MEP BIM models with a primary focus on Mechanical systems. * Produce BIM deliverables including layouts, sections, schedules, details, coordinated drawings, and quantity take\-offs. * Model and coordinate Mechanical systems including: + HVAC Systems + Chilled Water Systems + Air Distribution Systems + Ventilation Systems + Smoke Management Systems + District Cooling Networks + Mechanical Plant Rooms + Equipment Rooms + Pumping Systems + Fuel Systems + Medical Gas Systems (where applicable) * Ensure project deliverables comply with client requirements, project specifications, and BIM standards. * Support project teams through design development, coordination, construction documentation, and project delivery phases. ##### **Technical Review \& Quality Assurance** * Review Mechanical BIM models and deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. * Conduct model audits and quality checks before submission. * Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company BIM standards, naming conventions, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements. * Identify and resolve technical modeling issues and workflow challenges. ##### **MEP Coordination Support** * Coordinate Mechanical BIM models with Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural, Structural, Civil, and Infrastructure disciplines. * Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and model review workshops. * Support clash detection activities and assist in resolving discipline\-specific coordination issues. * Collaborate closely with BIM Coordinators to ensure successful integration of Mechanical systems within federated project models. * Review spatial coordination requirements related to plant rooms, service routes, equipment clearances, and maintenance access requirements. ##### **Team Support \& Technical Leadership** * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Engineers and BIM Modelers. * Review and support the work of junior team members. * Assist in developing BIM standards, templates, families, libraries, and workflows. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and digital delivery methodologies. ##### **Documentation \& Reporting** * Prepare BIM documentation, model registers, coordination records, and project reports as required. * Support quantity extraction, data validation, and model\-based reporting activities. * Ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables and project milestones. ##### **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum 4–7 years of BIM experience in MEP projects with a specialization in Mechanical systems. * Experience working on commercial, residential, mixed\-use, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, aviation, transportation, data center, or infrastructure projects. * UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of Mechanical systems and BIM\-based project delivery processes. ##### **Technical Skills** ##### **Mandatory Software** * Autodesk Revit MEP * AutoCAD * Autodesk Navisworks * Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 * Microsoft Office Suite ##### **Preferred Software** * Dynamo * Autodesk Recap Pro * HAP * Carrier HAP * BIM Collaborate Pro * Power BI ##### **BIM Knowledge** * BIM Execution Plans (BEP) * Common Data Environment (CDE) * ISO 19650 Standards * Clash Detection \& Resolution * Level of Development (LOD) * BIM Documentation and Digital Deliverables * Model\-based Quantity Extraction * MEP Coordination Workflows ##### **Competencies** * Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical building services and HVAC systems. * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills. * High attention to detail and quality. * Effective communication and coordination abilities. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. * Strong mentoring and team collaboration skills. * Self\-motivated with a proactive approach to project delivery. ##### **Why Join iTech?** * Opportunity to work on landmark projects across the UAE and GCC. * Exposure to advanced BIM technologies and digital engineering practices. * Collaborative and innovative working environment. * Professional development and career growth opportunities. ##### **How to Apply** ##### **Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated CV, portfolio of relevant MEP projects, software proficiency details, current location, visa status, and availability to** **** ##### **Subject:*****Application – Senior BIM Engineer\-MEP (Mechanical)*** ##### **Preferred Availability:** **Immediate to 30 Days.**
